The shining

The Shining
The first thing that we can see from the shining is that it is a horror film. There is an obvious crazed looked face. There is a dark light surrounding theman behind the door to create tension and show that he is a bad character. He is sweating which makes him glow in the little light that is put on him. His teeth are deliberately made whiter to show a stereo-typical bad character. His eyes are almost looking through the wall. His eyes are also black and full of a mischievous grin. He has a lot of stubble and the editor has made sure that only one strand of hair is coming down of his face. The axe makes him look like he’s going to kill her.

The girl behind the door has a deranged look in her eyes and she looks extremely weird herself. The viewer can see that she is being intimidated by the knife that she is holding in her hand. She also has
The lighting in the picture a very shocked look on her face. The girl is wearing all black which emphasizes; one the look on her face and two, the knife that she is holding. The girl looks vulnerable and scared. The girl also looks very weird and has the appearance of a Goth She is hiding and waiting for him to bursts in to the door. is extremely clever as they don’t show any of the attacker’s body from the neck down by using a black light on him. The girl has a bright light in the background which outlines her facial expression and the colour contrast between her clothing and the white background.
