Hanna report
The first sound that we hear is the doors opening and closing which is vault. This shows that she has been locked up. The crying sound shows that she might be frightened however shortly after we hear a neck breaking. This sound is meant to be digetic however the sound of the neck breaking is very unrealistic and is clearly emphasized. We see that the crying was a fasad and a decoy to lure the interegator in.
Gunshots follow shortly after, this shows the violence in the scene. The gunshots fire at the cameras in the room. After the final camera is shot the screen blacks out. This shows that this part of the scene is being seen through another person’s eye. Moreover when the glass breaks on the walls it is a one; digetic and two; very unrealistic.
The scene continues, she starts to run away and in the background you can hear digetic sounds such as footsteps and the noise from the guards. The non-digetic techno music is used to mirror a heartbeat. The music also gets faster when something bad is about to happen.
