The building of our set. Timeline

 At the beginning of building our set we tampered with how big and how wide it was going to be. Originally it was going to be 2 white boards wide however we then changed that to 3 whiteboards wide so that we could have more space to put the desk and the chairs.













we then realized that the white boards didn't seem as if they were part of a nuclear bunker we then painted the wall grey so that it would look more like a nuclear bunker.

Having put the table and the chairs out, we started putting some things on the wall to make it look more like an American office and a war room. we put two maps and an american flag on the wall. We also put a clock and some television screens are also being put in the room. We are also having very little light to show that it is underground. There will not be as much light in the thriller as there currently is.

Set for our thriller

This would what our set will hopefully look like to a much smaller scale. we want to make our thriller look like it is underground and so the ceiling and the lighting of our set will be key. We are building the set tomorrow and we will also set up all of our props there too. The props have already been sorted out and there is a blog post showing pictures of our needed props. The set will have a desk that is facing towards the door and this picture is perfect as it dosen't mean that we break the 180 degree rule.

Props for thriller

 This suit will be worn by the general of the united states army. The insignia for the suit has been sewed on for the day of the thriller.

The united states flag will be put behind the desk to show that it is in the united states.











these guns will be held by all the security guards and one of these guns will also be used for the shoot out between the two guards and the assassination of the president.








other props including a phone and the suits will all be there on the day. We also have red and black ties in the props list for the presidnet and the attorney general to wear.

Creating our perfect audience member for our thriller

There are many people that would fit the criteria for our thriller. Due to the historical background and also the slight political background to our thriller, the tribe that we have chosen are the Rahs. I have chosen this tribe due to the academic background and also the fact that there is a slight fictional aspect to our thriller which would make it appeal to a teenage audience. We have chosen the Rahs tribe as this tribe is predominantly teenagers and also young adults. They are also quite academic which would attract them to our thriller.

The rahs are very academic and also middle class they are extremely interested in anything that comes from Jack Wills and also they aspire to go to the top universities. The rahs are also alternative in the way they dress and the way they conduct their life. There have said to be tribal differences between the rahs and the lower class symbolising that they are almost exclusive in terms of whom they choose to spend time with and also what they choose to do with their lives. Their lives are very academically based. The type of music that they would listen to is alternative. The films that they wiould go and see would be wide range hoveever films such as the bourne films and also mission impossible films would be predomenant/

All of the reasons illustrate why the rash would be the main target audience to our thriller. Firstly they would understand the thriller as it is historically based and moreover the fictional and violent aspect of the thriller would mean that they would be even more interested in the film
 

there would also be a larger audience or a more in direct audience. The thriller would appeal to teenagers due to resons listen above hwoever due to its slight political and also historical background it would also appeal to an older audience. However due to the action involved i would say that the highest age group that this would appeal to would be late twenties. Moreover the fact that it is a 15 it will only be able to be watch by an older audience.

we're making our AS thriller in media and we deerly need mature figures that can appear as presidential candidates and aids and we fill that you fit the bill, the thriller will be on the 29th of January and it will on set and on a location in the school. we will need you all from 12.00 PM.
