Editing Stage 1

We looked through our footage and it proved to be very good. We had a wide range of shots to choose from and we started by putting the clips that we were going to use into a good bin. We then named these in terms of what kind of shot they were at. We continued to sort out the main body of the movie and make sure that the editing process went as smoothly as possible. We learnt from an early stage that the sound was in need of perfection because we were told that we put it into HD at the end so the sound had to match with movement of the people.

I believe that the first stages of editing went well. We found it very interesting and also learnt a lot about how to use final cut pro and use more of the effects such as the cross fade between sound to make it sound smoother and the clips. These effects would come in handy when we do our title sequence later on in the editing process.
