Audition trailer
There are many signs to show that this is a thriller. To start
off with the trailer is very slow paced. The man shows a very troubled facial
expressions and there are quick jump cuts to show a women in a room however you
can’t see her face which puts forward a dramatic effect and illustrates that it’s
a horror. There are close ups of both of the actors having eye line matches
towards a phone displaying that they need to talk to each other. Later on in the thriller when the girl begins
to raise her head there is a bag in the room which starts to move. This reiterates
that it is a horror. The trailer then becomes extremely fast paced showing her
with a needle and injecting people it then cuts to her making love to someone
and her on a beach amplifying that she was once good however has something in
her past which has changed her. This is displayed by the picture of a young
ballet dancer. It then shows her torturing the same person that she was having
sex with. This shows it to be a horror and moreover it shows that she has a had
a psychological effect on her. She is hspwn to be very mysterious. However the
thriller ends with her doing ballet as child with light shining on her which
shows her to be good in the end.
